Sims 4 Won't Install

So, like many Sims 4 players, I've been having some trouble actually opening the game. This started a few months back, and I know I'm not the only one with this issue. I heard that uninstalling and re-installing the game on Origin would work, but no. I re-installed everything... Only to be given the 'Install' option again instead of the 'Play' option. I've 'installed' it four times now, and it comes up with the same message. I've logged off and logged back on again, but that doesn't seem to be working. Has anyone had this problem, and does anyone have a solution? Thank you!

Did you try right-clicking on the game and choose repair game ?

Yes, it says something along the lines of 'Verifying Game Files' and then pauses. I can't seem to get it to resume, either. When I close and open Origin, it does the same thing

Did you check on your security software if it might be blocking the process ?
