Sims 4 Update Problems

Theres a mandatory update, but when my game gets half way dont, it says that there is an error because a certain file cannot be located. i didn't delete any file. what can i do to fix this?? this has happened multiple times before.

Try right clicking the game in Origin, and choose 'repair game'.

Hello! I did that but it didn´t work. It is all about the base game and the new patch. Do we get responses from the developers here?

Do you have security software running? Try disabling it to test.

I tried to deactivate the Firewall while "Repair" the game and it worked!

If it's a program you're using just close it or pause it. If it's the Windows firewall go to Control Panel > Windows Firewall > there you should be able to turn it off.

Do turn it back on if the update succeeds. And add the game to the exceptions list.
