Sims 4 University. Issue with roommates.

I have just started playing Sims 4 Discover University. My sim is living in dorms. The other roommates keep getting stuck and standing in one place, not responding to interactions or taking care of their needs - they keep peeing themselves and collapsing with exhaustion. This goes on until my sim goes to bed and they all suddenly reset. The 'resetSim' option doesn't work and I don't have any mods installed.
