Sims 4 Taking ages to download?

I had previously had Sims 4 on my laptop, but I got a new one and it is compatible with Sims but it's taking ages to Download, last time it only took about 2 hrs but this time I've had it updating over night and it's still on 88% ? And the numbers keep changing to higher numbers ? Is there anyway I can speed it up ? Help ?

You can try pausing and resuming the download, and make sure nothing else on your computer is downloading.

It all depends on your own internet speed and the business on the EA servers.
