Sims 4 Stuck on loading screen

Hi.

So basically, I use TS4 to storytell and I recently made some new characters I want to add to my family. I made them by taking a previously household I saved to my library and merging the two families together, then proceeded to modify the household to be how I wanted. When I was done, I clicked the check mark and spent 20 minutes waiting for my game to load. I eventually had to force quit it. My game has also been laggy and every time a loading screen finishes it tells me that CC has been removed. 

To clarify- my game works okay-ish until I go into CAS and add sims from my library. It then stays on the loading screen forever. I have tried everything, quitting TS4, quitting origin, restarting my computer, taking out my mods folder and trying that. NOTHING WORKS. 

Please, please, PLEASE help me, I don't know what else to do!

Sounds like you have some broken CC, try taking out your mods folder and test the game without.

Remove CC

Delete localthumbcache file

Repair game

If it doesn't work, find the broken cc and then do the above again
