Sims 4 Still crashing after hot fix update

I played yesterday after installing the hot fix update that would fix all the crashing and deleted the -nosound line in the game properties. I was able to play just fine yesterday, it lagged a little but nothing to complain about. But I just opened my game today and five minutes in, it crashed. Why was it working good yesterday and now the crashing is starting again?

@maudebenoit16  There are plenty of reasons the game might crash now.  Here's one:

If that's your issue, let me know, and I'll merge your post with that thread.  You can keep an eye on it for updates.

If that's not your issue, please let me know whether anything weird happens before the crash, and if you see any error messages, please post a screenshot.  Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
