Sims 4 Sim wont interact

my game loads fine and have all updates but I cannot click on any household item or sim for my sim to interact with, i.e. taking a shower or painting on easel or click on stove to cook.. or on another sim to talk to. can click on needs items to have sim auto fullfil need. can use build option. just seems to be ingame interaction.

Hey i know this is an old post but i was wondering if this has ever gotten fixed? Like i have just got this now and ea live tech support isnt there anymore and my Sims 3 and 4 game is broken so i have nothing left to do ...

Are you using mods in your game ? If so, please remove them
