Sims 4: Sim won't complete actions.

@babybeetlejuice  Did you specifically try a new save in a clean folder?  If the problem is there so quickly even in a new save, then it sounds like it's more likely to be a system issue.  Please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I did try a new folder, yes. Here's the dxdiag.

@babybeetlejuice Could you also upload a file called config.log ?

It can be found in your documents folder.

Also, when you started a fresh save, did you test one of the premade houses ?

I think this is the file you meant, it was in my TS4 folder.

And I did try out a premade house, before going into the gallery and trying a new one.

Your mods/cc folder is currently empty, right ?

Could you also try updating your graphics drivers ? Yours are from 2017

My mods folder was empty, and then I was concerned maybe something I had was tripping it. I have CC that was created a while ago and haven't updated. So, I deleted every mod and every bit of CC and have downloaded fresh stuff from MSR, but only things that have been made in 2019-2020, to avoid that possible problem. I've started a fresh folder with the new mods, and it seems to be okay. A little bit laggy at times, but still working. 

I'm updating my drivers as well, thank you for pointing that out! Ngl, I wouldn't have even known how to check on that.

@babybeetlejuice Lags can often occur, especially if you're playing large houses with lots of stuff in your inventory and lots objects in the house.

I'm having the exact same issue, but I have noticed it only happens when my Sims are living in their San Myshuno residence. It will work everywhere except their households, for every family, no matter what. If they go to a bar/market/club or anywhere outside of their house, they execute commands without issues.
