Sims 4- Retail Cashier Placement

Hiya. First time buying a retail store in the sims 4. No matter what surface I buy, it will not let me place a cash register. I tried a retail counter, a kitchen counter/island, a dining table, an end table, a coffee table... I cannot figure this out. Help?

Yes, you can disable mods/cc in your game options (think the tab other, not sure atm)

The homely retail counter should work (and other retail counters).

Could you try removing them for testing purposes, start a new game and check if it works without ?

If it does, one or more of them might be outdated and need an update.

wait nvm i also forgot to disable script mods. This worked! Thank you :D
