Sometimes when I download new Custom Content, my games fails to open and shows a message saying "Sims 4 Unexpectedly Quit" there on I have to delete all my new custom content that I spent time on finding which I find annoying. I fixed this problem myself a few months ago because The Sims 4 Team had no solution to the problem and to fix it I had to completly wipe my computer, lose photos, passwords and all things important to fix this game. I am not willing to do this again and am willing to spend my time trying to find a solution as The Sims 4 Team won't help.

Well the CC that is causing this needs updating, or deleting. So I suggest testing the game without.
After that, and the game works fine, you can put half back, test the game. Keep splitting until you find the broken CC.

We've had a new update, so maybe some old custom content is broken as well.
Could you try taking out your entire mods folder and placing it on your desktop?

Thanks for the help, but I want to continue playing with my CC and with it out of the folder I can't?

After downloading CC I would continue to try and start sims 4 and it would always say it quit unexpectedly so I took that advice and deleted all the new CC and it still did the same and then put the whole mods folder on my desktop and it still won't work. I don't know what to do

Hi @emmaburneyy
Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
Good Luck

Hi @sofbolcool
Sounds like you have some kind of cc/mod that makes the game crash
Use the 50/50 method: http://modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Finding_Problem_Custom_Content to find out which one.
Good Luck
