Sims 4 PC won't load at all

I click on Sims 4 in Origin, it loads so I can see the first loading screen, then minimises so all I can see of the window is the maximise/minimise/close buttons. If I maximise it, I either see a plain white screen, or it minimises straight away. To close it I have to go into task manager and 'end task' because the close button does nothing.

I have already tried clicking 'repair' in Origin which didn't help

Please help!!

@josiele97  Please try disabling Origin in-game: open Origin, hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option right at the top.

If that doesn't help, please move your entire Sims 4 user data folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to this folder yet; just see whether you can load and play a new save.  Let me know either way.

If you still get a white screen or the game minimizes, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
