Greetings. My issue is an odd one. Sims 4 has been working fine for me for until this Saturday. I had not played for a few days, so I am unsure when the issue popped up, but I did download an Nvidia update on Saturday. Towards the end of the day, I bought and installed the last two Stuff Packs that I had left, and ran the game. The screen went black, then white--normal for loading--then it went black again, and then white; then, it appears that the whole game started going through its startup process, but very slowly, and interrupted by white screens. Further, it left me unable to do anything to start the game--though, not as if I could play it in that condition.
I went ahead and did a factory reset, and it appears that I discovered the issue. I normally play the game in 3840 x 2160 resolution, and I've never had an issue with it. When I did the reset, the game worked just as it should. I then went into the options and changed the resolution from the default 1920 x 1080 to 3840 x 2160, and that is when the issue returned. Does anyone know what might be causing such a problem, or how I can fix it? I have never once had a problem like this, and it only started yesterday. I've made no other changes other than getting the latest Nvidia update and uninstalling some games. My thanks.

Hi @DeimoskaiA
could be an issue with the graphics drivers. Did you try rolling back to the last ones ?
Good Luck

I figured that I would check, in case it was a known issue, as I do hate to rollback drivers except as a last resort--but, yep, it was the driver, as I had feared. My thanks.
