Sims 4 Lot Issue

When i start a new game on the sims 4 i create a sim and then go to move them in, i tried to move them into a premade lot, Sandtrap Flat to be specific and when the game loaded up the lot was completely empty, no mailbox and the game even takes the money for the fully furnished house but the lot is completely empty, how can i sort this issue?

Does it just happen with that one lot or with eveyone of them ?
