Sims 4 Keeps Crashing

Basically I’ll load up a lot and start building. 5-10 minutes pass: good bye progress. It crashes. Urfhhggh. It is a new laptop more or less and it keeps happening over and over. I’ve seen people talking about the RAM will some one tell me if this is the reason why.
