Sims 4 Gallery Crashes

Sims 4 has been working fine in all areas, no crashes except for when I go to Gallery. It allows me to open the Gallery, browse lots, but as soon as I select one to look at it pops up as though it is about to load and the freezes and the entire game crashes. I have yet to successfully download a single item from the gallery since the game launched. All my patches are uptodate through origin and I only have two families of sims in my game. No other function issues so I can't imagine what is causing this.

I turned origin off in-game, it initially worked. I was able to fully load one item from the gallery but by viewing a second one it then crashed again.

I also just wanted to note that I'm playing on my laptop which is obviously older, however I also got a new computer just a few months ago, it's a windows 8 brand new and the gallery also crashes on that, I am not able to post the information for that as well at the moment, but I wasn't sure if that would be relevant information.

This one does not fullfil the miminum requirements.

If possible, post the info of the newer one.
