i do use mods, but i removed all of them to see if it was causing the issue, but it continued to happen
Try updating your graphics drivers. The graphics card is also a bit weak. What settings are you playing on ?
Did you also delete your localthumbcache file after removing the mods ?

I'm also having this problem. I start the game, it shows the EA logo and then the Maxis logo. On the Maxis logo i get a message saying that The Sims 4 has stopped. I have no choice but to close the game window.
I do not use mods, and I wasn't having this trouble until after the Get Famous expansion.

Do you have any lastcrash files generated ? If so, could you delete them, then play until it crashes again and if you get any new ones, post the text of those here ?
@LadyAsh1 You have a conflict with your graphics drivers. Could you try reinstalling them ? Use this tool: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

@DantyElla That happened to me also but I started playing around with the game to try to figure out ideas... here’s one that worked for me:
when you open origin go to your game library
right click the Sims 4 game and press repair
after it has repaired the game it should stop crashing
It does delete your mods it just repairs the different bugs and crashes in the game.
