Sims 4 Can’t Play Household

Ever since the last update, I can only play a household when on an empty lot. As soon as I add a building or try to travel, when trying to play the household it takes me back to the choose a world screen. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling all my mods/cc, deleting all my saved games and starting over, removing my sims 4 folder in documents completely, among all the solutions I’ve found searching the internet, but nothing has worked. Help please!
