My sims 4 loading screen is black. It isn't loading. I've tried restarting my computer. I don't want to uninstall the game because I'm afraid that I will loose all my contents.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
You can attach the txt file to your post directly.
Uninstalling won't make you loose your content. You can backup everything to be on the safe side: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/backing-up-and-resetting-the-sims-4/
That said, I wouldn't go through that just now. Let's do some troubleshooting first.

Restore a previous saved game
Choose from an automatically stored save point in The Sims 4 if your data's corrupted or you want to revert anyway.
