Sims 3 won't work.

I got Sims 3 a few months back, got everything set up. Then, stopped playing for a while. I went to go play again, and it's saying I never even downloaded the game, but when I go to put the product code in, it says that it has already been used. I soon after, got a new one, and the same thing happened. Any help????
