So, my problem is, that whenever I open the launching program and click 'play', nothing happens. The only thing that happens is, that the origin symbol on the bar blinks orange, and that's it. This have been happening for so long, and I've tried everything: Reinstalling both Sims 3 and Origin, and everything else.
I'm trying to run it on Windows 10, and I'm on patch 1.69.

I contacted EA support. My graphics card is simply not strong enough. Thank you all for trying to help, but my computer just can't do it.

Nothing happens, besides the launcher closing, and Origin opening up. I can't play The Sims 2 either.

Try reinstalling Origin then

I've already tried that: Both reinstalling Origin and Sims 3.

Do all your Origin games not work or do you only have Sims 2 UC and Sims 3 ?
Did you manually uninstall Origin as described in that link ?

I have other games, but they are not installed. And Sims 2 actually began working yesterday: Now it's only Sims 3 that's not working.
And yes, I did, but I don't know if I did it wrong, or something.

Can you try right-clicking on the game in Origin and click on repair game ?

Well, I've done that 3-4 times. Now I uninstalled Sims 3 and Origin again, and began downloading Sims 3, but it's stuck on 86%, and won't download more than this.

can you try pausing the download and resuming ?
Also make sure that your firewall and antivirus are not blocking the connection to Origin
