Sims 3 won't run on windows 10??

Hello, I have sims 3 and every expansion pack released along with it. I recently downloaded my games from origin to my new laptop that has windows 10. Everytime i try to play it loads a black screen then quits saying its unable to run the game. Ive tried it with not all the expansion packs on there but nothing works. help?
