Sims 3 won't load

Hi

I recently downloaded Sims 3 in Xbox on my laptop windows 11. I downloaded the university extension too. The game played fine until I sent my sim to university. Then I got an error message 16 when trying to save. When my sim graduated and went home the game froze. I exited the game. The next day the game would not load. I have tried many solutions through tech support and YouTube. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I see through this forum that this is an ongoing issue, and it looks like that EA support isn't able to resolve. I find this very frustrating. I don't want to play sims 4. I prefer 3. Figured I'd voice my frustration and hope for a solution in the future. Good luck guys

@CoHikingQueen  Is OneDrive running on your computer, and/or have you taken steps to change its settings or get rid of it?  If so, let me know.

Please also search in Windows for Command Prompt, open it, and enter this command, starting with reg query:

reg query "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders" /v "Personal"

Then post the result. You can write [username] instead of your actual username if you want, but please leave the rest intact.
