Sims 3 - windows 10

I have sims 3, it used to work on windows 7. Now I have upgraded to windows 10, however, the game refuses to open. Please help! :'(

This happened to me, Adventually, It will do this thing that SEEMS like a virus, but you have to shut down your pc, it eventually will update, and you will be able to play.
