Sims 3 game won't load after first loading screen

Okay so I've just recently installed world adventures and such it was working all good and dandy, but now it won''t load past the second loading screen it's gets to 99% then acts as if it's loading. This sucks donkey and such so I can't reset my compter and I've already reinstalled and such (took FOREVER literally like a day and a half) Now that it won't work I've been sadly doing homework and such. 
mileyindifferent: So like anyone help? Please. Help I need to play in China. Cause when I first installed it was all fine, but I saved right after I saw that everything was a'okay, but when I tried to play later it did the false loading situation and I've given up for now. mileysad:
Try resttetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps/td-p/714/
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
If that doesn't help, please state your operating system.
