Sims 3 for free? [ Edited ]

Calling to all fellow sims 3 fans! I think they should put the sims 3 with all of its expansions for free or at a greatly discounted price. I don’t think this is unreasonable to ask since it is already 12 years old. I hope EA’s marketing team will se this and run a free promotion.
