Sims 3 compatibility with windows 8.1 [ Edited ]

Is the sims 3 compatible with windows 8.1? I read a lot of reports around the internet that it isn't compatible with windows 8.1. I bet those people's computers aren't configured properly or else they would be having all of these issues. It's working great for me.

@aobadsul it is compatible yes. People have issues because, for example, Sims 3 will conflict with Bitdefender on Windows 8
