Sims 3 worlds bought through the EA App won't show up in game

Yes I've checked my purchase history and its not there. I purchases Roaring Heights on EA play. I used the code they gave me in my email receipt on the sims 3.com and it comes up as already used but the world is no where to be seen on my account.

Used Product Key

So i bought Monta Vista on the EA app for Sims 3. I got the dlc but in order to use it i have to register it on the sims 3 website so i can download it. I go to register the product key and it says the key has already been used. Because of this i can't use the dlc/world i just bought.

I got a refund to the purchase of monte vista. I also noticed that you can't buy it on the sims 3 website either as it just takes you to an error 404. It seems like to only way to buy it is from the EA app if it gives you a legit unused code.

@aaronoregan  Yes, the Sims 3 Store stopped accepting money, as in the function was removed, several years ago at least.  So unless you somehow stumble upon a sealed physical copy of Monte Vista, the EA App is your only option.

Yep and it makes me hesitant to buy it again. What are the chances of getting another used product key?

@aaronoregan  Based on the overall number of reports, I'd say the chance is relatively low that you'd get a second bad code in a row.  However, it might be worth waiting to see whether EA fixes this in the near future.  I've seen previous comments from EA people saying they're looking into this, just not in this particular thread because I only made the thread yesterday and haven't merged the older comments with it.

Point is, keep an eye on this thread, where I'll keep merging new reports, for any updates.  Someone from EA should post if and when there's any real news to share.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one, I contacted EA and can let you know if I get anything from them if you'd like.
