Sims 3: Sims Stuck then Game Crashes

I recently redone loaded the Sims 3 after not having played it in ages. I managed to play the game for all of 10 minutes before I saved and exited. Today, I came back to the game and my sims are stuck and will no move or do any actions whatsoever. In addition, after about 5-10minutes of trying to reset or teleport my Sims, my game will crash regardless if it is in windowed or full screen mode.

@ROMANANA01  There are so many different reasons TS3 can crash or freeze, it's necessary to start narrowing things down before trying to troubleshoot.  So it would be very helpful if you could run a dxdiag and attach the results to a post here.

Please also list the packs you have installed, and in which world you've been playing.  Some are made better than others.
