Did you change anything ? Download custom content ? Install a driver ? Install a new program ? Patch ?
Good Luck

I'm not really very familiar with Macs but that's really odd.
If you try to open the disk to see it's contents, do you have any issues with that ? Is the game able to read it right ?
Here's a few threads from the mac forum:

Try resetting the smc and pram
to reset the smc on a laptop that you cannot remove the battery this is what you wanna do
to reset the smc:1st shut the computer down
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time
release them all at the same time and then press the power button again then launch
if you still get the same error try this
Resetting the pram:
when hitting the power button you will need to hit the CMD + Option + P + R buttons all at the SAME TIME and wait till you here the Macintosh Chime 3 times. You can let go after the 3rd chime. Then attempt to launch if that does not help
try verifying the disk permission and then repairing then attempt again,
hope this helps.
