Sims 3 Pack Error

EA App won't open the Sims 3 before I install the Pets pack. However, It's already downloaded? When I try to download the second Pets, I just receive an error that it won't install

@ghostiexx  When you try to open Sims 3, what happens?  Does it help to clear the EA App's cache?

Please repair the game afterwards: open My Collection, hover over the Sims 3 icon, click the three dots, and select Repair.
