Sims 3 Not Launching

Hi, so when ever press play from the launching site it will turn black and boot me out making it un-playable. I play on a PC and it has been happening for a while. I do not have any mods installed, if that changes anything. I was just wondering if you all knew what was going on. Thank you so much for looking in to this!

@benji5148  Please move your entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you open the launcher, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.  Let me know either way.

If you can't play in a clean folder, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
