One of the advisors emailed me " As an advisor in order to avoid any inconvenience I would suggest you to please report this issue on EA forum and you may receive an update from community managers. Also, incase the other players are also facing this issue they can come up and the team will try to resolve this as soon as possible.
I have gone into my Sims 3 Store Account and tried to down load my worlds but when I go to install them it says there is no package to install these were bought with Sims Points.
My Sims 3 expansions pack will not down load in the EA APP somes of these games were on disc some which were installed in Origin other were bought from the EA APP.
Why has this problem not been sorted out yet. I think it started on 23/08/2023 it is now 26/08/2023 and still I am not able to play my game.
As you state in one of your emails from ustomer experience I am not the only one with this problem surely your developers can get this sorted as this has only recently happened why would it suddenly happen when I have been playing since 2016.
This really is not acceptable from a big gaming company

@MichaelS1990I wish I knew why notifications and the inlay prevents .sims3pack files from installing, but nevertheless, you sir are a life saver. xD Worked like a charm for me.

My issue is my already installed/downloaded content is missing. At first I couldn't install anything from the store it just stopped working all of a sudden so I did the suggested fix by going to the EA application and turning off the notifications. That seems to be the fix for installing new content. My expansion packs are there, so that's not an issue for me just to note. SO - how do I get my already downloaded/installed content that I can see in the downloads back? I've already cleared the cache's from my files and I.E. I hope I don't have to take the time to click them in downloads and install them all over again, do I?

@eureeka79 Try deleting the SigsCache folder in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3. This helps some of the time.
However, if the old content still won't show up, you will unfortunately need to reinstall it. In fact, I'd remove all the existing Store content first to decrease the folder size and lower the chance of further corruption. Go into DCCache and delete all the .ebc files, then go into InstalledWorlds and delete the Store worlds. In-game, delete your installed Store venues through Edit Town; this will remove the corresponding files in Library.
You can try installing one or two of the Sims3Packs you downloaded before this problem showed up, but it's possible those downloads won't work, in which case you'll need to empty out Downloads as well and start downloading from scratch.

Thank you. I did clear those and they still aren't there. I did a test of a few - I went to my downloads page and selected a few and hit install and they did in fact re-install themselves. If i delete the files from my files folder, will they still be in my downloads page so I can easily just install from there? I don't want to delete anything just yet to be sure. I have TONS of content, this is going to take forever.

Well - back to square one. I do NOT understand what is going on. Now we are back to "no packages to install" and I am just trying to get back specific ones I know I had before all this mess happened and I've had forever. I just don't get why this is happening. I deleted the cache's, repaired the game, rebooted, deleted the .ebc files and nothing is working. It's all right there in the downloads but won't install.

Thank you the method you suggested worked for me.

@eureeka79 Please try installing the content into a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop; if it copies instead of moving, or you get an error when trying to move it, stop here and let me know.
Otherwise, download a fresh copy of one item and let me know whether it installs. Make sure the EA App settings are still as you left them, that the App didn't update itself and reenable the overlay or something else sneaky. If the one item works, you can install the rest of your Store content in that folder, a few items or sets at a time, and test it in-game. If it works, you can move your saves and other content from the old Sims 3 folder to the new one and pick up where you left off.
I realize that this is a major inconvenience, and if I knew of a way around it, I'd have said so. One thing that may help though, in the future if not now, is saving a copy of the new Sims 3 folder with your Store content installed but nothing else added. If you run into this issue in the future, you can restore this folder rather than starting from scratch yet again. If you intend to move this backup to a different drive, I'd zip it first to prevent corruption.
