Sims 3: Into The Future-Can't interact with myself!

I got Sims 3: Into The Future a few months ago on Origin (I downloaded it) and everything was fine until I tried to open the almanac of time for the second time (a few in-game seasons later) and it would not work. :catsad: After a few real-life days or maybe about one month I was playing around and I decided that I wanted to fix the almanac of time so I could have a look in it. So I went to the past and tried to click it and it still did not work, so I just went back into the future and carried on playing. Until one day I could not open my phone so I tried to click on my sim to open it from him and that did not work.

PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THIS :catsad:

DId you try resetting the sim or move him out and back in ?

Resetting the Sim

1. Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
2. Type resetsim firstname lastname (name of your sim)

Moving out and back in

1. Change the game to edit town 
2. Choose your family and have the sim split from the family to move out. Then put him back to the same family

Moving out and back in- Spilt family / household not appearing.

You need to do the second one in your home world. Can you still travel back ?
