Sims 3 Gameplay Freezing Issue

Every few seconds my game will freeze. The mouse can move around on the screen but cannot click on anything until the game un-freezes. It freezes for a good thirty seconds, un-freezes for an average of 5 seconds, then freezes again. This happens all the time now, starting around the time I bought Season's from Origins online. This is making it so I cannot play. Is there a patch being worked on for this or am I SOL?

Try resetting all your Sims in your town with the cheat resetsim *.

You might have a stuck Sim somewhere
