Sims 3 Game Crashing

My game has been crashing lately. Worse since I have installed into the future. I don't even get to play the game for longer than a few minutes when it crashes. I have all expansions except world adventures. I have 4gb of ram, not sure where to find the other information you require.

What is your operating system
At what point does your game crash ? Any regularities ?
How long can you usually play ?
Which EP/SPs do you have installed ?
Are you using custom content and mods in your game ?
