Sims 3 Create a world tool crashes on startup [ Edited ]

I have installed The Sims 3 base game and some expantions and wanted to create a custom world with bits from each expantion, but after installing the tool it doesnt load. I will double click on the shortcut and it pops up the window for it but then crashes and does not give a memory error or anything, just says the tool has stopped working. I also have the Create a Patter tool and that works without issue. The expantions i have are:

Ambitions

Generations

High-end Loft Stuff

Late Night

Pets

Seasons

World Adventures

University Life

Everything was purchased off Origins and is fully updated. Game and all expantions work without issue.

Alright so i reset my laptop to factory settings erasing everything off my laptop and all that, installed the sims and create a world now works. thanks for at least responding, rumbutter.

do you have any mods folder ? try move the mods folder to the desktop then clear the cache files and see if CAW will run

delete the cach files go to electronic arts/the sims 3/

•compositorCache.package
•scriptCache.package
•simCompositorCache.package
•socialCache.package.package

it's safe to delete these files as a new ones will regenerate

if you have no mods then try right click the CAW shorcut run as admin then see if CAW will work

no mods folder, deleting cashe doesnt change anything, running as admin doesnt work. i have no mods, i have no exchange items. only some store items from bonuses and whatnot.

also, games are located inside the origin games folder while tool is in EA folder (all inside programfiles x86 folder )

uhm, windows 8, 64 bit, lol just ask what info you need and i'll tell you (other that passwords and CD-keys of course)

just thought of something is your game to 1.67 and did you download the latest CAW
