Sims 3 Crashing

★★★ Newbie

Hi!

I am having an issue where I would play the game for 10-20 minutes (with a lot of freezing) and then my computer would flash black once or twice (occasionally turn to a blue screen) then finally cut off.

There is no specific time or 'thing' that it would trigger this while playing. Also, it wasn't always like this. At first I would be able to play the game for hours with little to no issues

I have tried the following:

-changing the resolution settings

-switching to digital download

-uninstalling and reinstalling

I currently just have the base game installed and have put off adding my new ambitions and pets to the the the game until I know my game is back to normal.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks!!

Jazmine

Could you post the entire dxdiag ?

Did you check your computer with cyri: http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri to see if specs are ok ?

Good Luck
