Sims 3 Crash to Desktop

I have searched the internet for months trying to find an answer, none of them work. Its not DEP, they are all in there, cleaned cache, updated drivers etc. I have a powerful computer so that is not the cause. Please can someone help me out.

• At what point does your game crash ? Any regularities ?
• How long can you usually play ?
• Which EP/SPs do you have installed ?
