Sims 3 CC

Hello everybody! I was browsing, and looking around for some good cc for clothing, hairs, and skin for Sims 3. Any site recommendations? Thank you, much appreciated! Standard smile

@Splotchish  Mod the Sims is aa pretty safe place: you're unlikely to get bad custom content or a virus there.  If you're worried about viruses, I'd stay away from The Sims Resource—there have been reports of malicious ads on that site for years.  (I'd never download from there without protection.)  Other than that, individual creators often host content on their own sites or use Tumblr.

Since I don't know what your tastes are, it's difficult to make specific recommendations.  I do know that Kusoberina skins are quite popular, and maybe Ephemera's to a lesser degree.  If you'd like some ideas, here are a few recent discussions on the official Sims forums you might find useful:

You can also make requests for recommendations on that site or on Mod the Sims.  On the Sims forums, you won't be able to make your own thread as a new member, but I could make one for you; just let me know your username there.  Or you could drop into an existing thread, as long as it's not too old.

Wherever you download from, please keep in mind that you should never have to pay for custom content.  There are always free options available, and it's also against EA's terms of service for creators to charge for content based on EA intellectual property.

And if you're installing Sims3Packs, it's always safest to install them into a clean Sims 3 folder first, so you can see what you're getting.  If you find some rogue cc in the launcher, or the items don't work properly in-game, you can trash the new Sims 3 folder without having contaminated the folder that contains all your existing content.  Let me know if you'd like help with this process as well.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.
