Recently purchased sims3 show expansion pack and saw this one had limited edition content when opened. Got it from best buy, saw the code inside was already expired march 2013 over 6 months ago.. how does someone buy a game with extra content then get expired codes brand new in the box.

This is cause many stores buy a bunch of games and then sell them month later when the code has expired.

Limited edition content was meant for pre-orders but since they are also avaible on DVD, it can happen that retail stores have left overs.

You can try if EA is willing to give you the content anyways
