i'm having an issue trying to play The Sims 4: my Sim's controls aren't showing up on the screen and I don't know what to do. I've provided a screenshot to show the issue. If anyone has an answer I would really appreciate it.

Are you using any mods/cc in your game ? Namely the UI Cheat extension mod ?
If so, make sure you use the version of the mod that matches your patch level.
