Sim as Detective goes to Crime Scene but cannot do work or leave...

Hey,

my sim is in a detective career and there is crime scene where I go and then the sim seems to be like at a friends house... I cannot inspect any details for the job and the sim is also not able to go back to the police hub or even home... I now have to wait until the work day is over. I can use the fride make some food or play piano, but I am not able to do some of the things I should do for my job... Anyone can help?

Also I got no mods installed.

which neighborhood is the crime scene in ?

Do you not have an option to return to police station when you click on the Sim ?
