Showing ****dsjjhhkja****** on recently installed patches?? :( [ Edited ]

Why is it that when i installed the updated installation its showing *****dFSadvgD2**** on everything that has just downloaded. for example when i hover the mouse over the new objects in buy mode it has ********dbhshha****** and also the new genealogy family tree it says something similar and also on the loading screen down the bottom ... it has it on all of the new DLC that i had just downloaded in the recent patches. Dont know what to do... do I delete eveything and re-install or is there another easier way to do this, really dont want to lose my families haha. Please help, Making me increasingly frustrated :3
