Seeking advice for sims 3 codes

I have downloaded and played the sim's perfectly fine until now. I purchased the sim's 3 back in 2011 I, and at the time i was unaware of origin. I have downloaded the games onto my pc and now im wishing to dowload them onto my laptop with an origin account, only issue is, my sims 3 code has already been used. Should i buy a new sims 3 and start over? What is your opinion?

no do not rebuy something you already own download origin to your laptop log in with your email and password you use for your account then right click th egame icon in the my games tab-download

make sure to download the right version of orign as there is pc and mac version

To download and install games through Origin:

Download and install the Origin client for Mac and make sure it is up-to-date. If you already have Origin on your Mac but are having problems with downloading or installing games, delete the client and download a new copy (this sometimes fixes issues with downloading). The latest version can be downloaded from here: http://www.dm.origin.com/mac/download

Additional advice on how to download games (thank you Tremayne for this tip):
When downloading from Origin, do NOT use the first install icon. Move your cursor over the game cover and click on the information (letter i) and then click on the install button from there. For some reason, downloads from Origin frequently become corrupted
