Saved game disappeared

Missing time! Last played the game on 23rd and 24th September, did some house updates and played a family. Saved fine on 23rd as I carried on where I left off on the 24th. Tried to play on 25th and Origin says the last time I played was 16th September - all game progress is lost.

Obviously it's not the end of the world if I have to do it again but I'm concerned my Sims 4 doesn't seem to be saving... anyone run into this before?

So when you start the game you start fresh? Or do you start on your save of the 16th?

Do you get any errors?
