Save files from macbook to PC.

I purchased sims4 on Macbook, but recently purchased a pc and transferred my save files onto pc and placed in corresponding file, still cannot see the saves in the game. How can I fix this?

Moved your post to the PC tech forum

Your saves go in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, exactly like on your Mac. Just make sure you aren't storing the folders in the cloud in OneDrive or similar, they must be local on your PC.

What do you mean by the files having to be local? 

And i did that, on my pc, my save files are in the saves file thats in the EA file and nothing’s showing up.

Could you post a screenshot of how your documents folder looks like ?

If the game is using oneDrive, it's possible that you need to put the files there instead.

Here's a screenshot of how I saved the file. The game isn't using onedrive. I have used the method of copy+paste to and from save files onto the pc already.

Do you have them all in that subfolder Sims 4 saves ? If so, move them to the saves folder. YOu can' thave subfolders in the saves folder or the game won't recognize them.

I copy+paste save files into the sims 4 save files. but nothing worked Frown And yes i did have them outside the subfolder.

@Bod3gakimchi  The path appears to be correct. But there should not be any extra folders in the file.

C:\Users\MyPC\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves

the folder circled in red on the pic below is not working out. You need to move all files from that folder to This PC > Docuements > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > saves so that it looks like the picture posted in the post above.
