(SOLVED) VCRUNTIME140_1.DLL Error (Nothing has worked...)

Hi, coming here because I'm honestly running out of ideas.

I've been having an issue with my game since last night where I get a popup that says that the VCRUNTIME140_1.dll file can't be found, and that the game can't open without it.

I've been looking everywhere I can for a way to fix it. I've tried installing new VC++ files direct from Microsoft, uninstalling and reinstalling them, removed any copies of the file that show up in the file folder, and just uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself. I've even tried Command Prompt code someone left on a forum. I contacted EA's tech support and they told me to run/install the files from the Origin folder on my computer, or to try repairing them if that didn't work.

As you might imagine, since I'm here, none of these have worked, or even helped. So...I'm looking for anything and everything. And I appreciate any help.

@nightatthe0pera  Did you install both the x86 and x64 2022 VC++ runtimes?  If not, that's likely the issue.

If you did install both of these, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.

This worked! Thank you so much!

Turns out I had outdated x86 and x64 runtimes...guess that would do it.
