SIMS 4 Won't Open

I preordered the Sims 4 on Origin, and have played it since it was released. I was able to play it fine until today. When I tried to open the game, I got a message from Origin saying "To play the Sims 4 Digital Deluxe, you must first activate it on your Origin account." When I click on the option to activate the game, a window comes up with a box to type in the product code. Below that it says to check my email for the product code. I never recieved an email with the product code in it. Why was I able to play the Sims 4 before this without an activation code if I need an activation code now? Are the Sims 4 and the Sims 4 digital deluxe the same thing?

The Digital Deluxe version comes with a bit more content than the regular version.

If the game is in your Origin account already, you can hover over the game art and click on the letter "i" to find your product key. Alternatively, you can right-click on the game and go directly to game details to see your key.
