S & A Key Not Working on Sims 4

I have an issue for a few days now where my S and A keys do not work on the sims 4. I have tried so many different things, deleting my caches, removing my mods folder, using a different keyboard, etc. The only thing that helps is reinstalling sims. Can anyone help me? I really don't want to keep reinstalling.
