Running sims 4 from D drive

★★ Novice

I have all my Sim4 games, expansions and stuff packs installed on my D drive, it boots from my D drive but then creates files on my C drive everytime I start the game. My mods which are on my D drive then do not work unless I put them on my C drive which I want to keep solely for the OS so I don't fill it up with games and mods as I don't want to slow my comp down. Can anyone advise what I need to do? TIA

Mods go in the Mods folder in Documents Electronic Arts The Sims 4 Mods. Documents are normally stored under your username on your C: Drive. Documents can be moved to another drive if you want to.

To move the Documents and downloads folder see this: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-move-default-user-folders-new-drive-windows-10
